Q. Where are the Babe Ruth Birthplace & the Sports Legends Museum located?
A. Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards is located on Camden Street inside of the old Camden Station building just outside of the Eutaw Street entrance to Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The Babe Ruth Birthplace is located just three blocks west of Camden Street at 216 Emory Street. Both facilities are conveniently located to the Convention Center, two major interstates (83 and 95), Baltimore's famed Inner Harbor, and several downtown attractions, including both the baseball and football stadiums.
Q. Where should school buses pick up and drop off?
A. When visiting Sports Legends Museum, buses can utilize Camden Street to drop off and pick up. Buses may use Pratt Street at the corner of Emory Street when visiting the Babe Ruth Birthplace. For guided tours, we ask that your group remain on the bus until a museum staff member boards to provide your pre-visit orientation. Please send one person into the museum upon arrival to notify the staff that your group is outside.
Q. When should our group arrive?
A. We ask that all groups arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled visit time. Groups arriving late may not be able to participate in a pre-arranged activity.

A. Bus parking is conveniently located a short distance from both locations. Please contact Central Parking directly (Central Parking @ Oriole Park - 410-347-9330) to make arrangements. You can also log onto www.baltimore.org for a complete list of bus parking locations.
Q. What if I need to cancel my visit?
A. If you must cancel your visit, you must contact the group sales office at least two weeks prior to your scheduled arrival time. Failure to do so will result in a $25 cancellation fee in addition to all deposit monies paid.
Q. What if it the weather is bad?
A. In the event of inclement weather, the museum may have to alter operating hours or close completely. You should call the museum directly to find out the museum's status. On the occasion that your trip in canceled due to weather, please call on the next business day to reschedule your group visit.
Q. What about lunch?
A. For your convenience, pre-arrangements for lunch can be made with Oriole Park's Attman's Deli by calling 443-524-5026 or by emailing chris@attmansdeli.com. Or your group may bring bag lunches with them. Lunches must be eaten in the designated lunch area in the msueum. Please pre-arrange your group's lunch plans when the tour is booked. There is a $25.00 fee for set-up and clean-up of the lunch room, and the group must take any lunch trash with them when they leave the museum. TIP for Bag Lunches: Mark all brown bags with the student's name, school and teacher's name. Have the students put their lunches in a large container before boarding the bus at school. This will allow for one or two people to go back to the bus to retrieve lunches while the rest of the adults get the children situated in the designated lunch area. The organization will alleviate confusion and help facilitate the eating portion of your visit, therefore allowing you more time to enjoy the museum. And please remember -- groups are not permitted to eat lunch in the museum.
