For AAA members interested in a little sports history prior to the game, Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards is offering half-off admission to the museum on Friday, August 6 only. AAA Members may enter the museum for just $4; senior AAA Members (ages 65 and older) may enter for $3; and children of AAA Members (ages 3-12) may enter for $2.00.
Make a night of it! Fireworks sponsored by AAA Mid-Atlantic will take place immediately following the 7:05pm game between the Orioles and White Sox.

Baseball Historian - Richard D`Ambrisi at the Birthplace ::

Step back in time at the Babe Ruth Birthplace as baseball historian Richard "Pastime" D'Ambrisi discusses various aspects of the history of the game from the 1800s. He has developed an extensive display of reproduction materials and images that tell the story of the evolution of baseball in America. The program starts at 1:00pm.
In this program, Richard covers the History of the Development of the Sports of Base Ball in America in the 19th Century from Amateur to Professional.
Richard has been involved with the vintage baseball movement for over sixteen years. He is a member of the
Vintage Base Ball Association, the Society for American Baseball Research, the Baseball Hall of Fame, and the National Association for Interpretation, the Association for Living History Farm and Agricultural Museums and a volunteer with the Education Department at Sports Legends at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland. Richard is the team historian and a founding member of the Chesapeake & Potomac 1860s vintage baseball club in Maryland, was Chairman of the 2008 Sideline Interpretation Committee and 2008 interim Historian for the Vintage Base Ball Association.
